Fees and Financial Policies
There is a basic emergency exam fee charged for bringing your pet to Pet E.R.
There will be separate fees for other warranted services such as diagnostic tests, x-rays, medicine and surgery. An estimate for services will always be presented to you prior to performing further treatment. A deposit is required for all hospitalized patients, and fees for services must be paid in full when your pet is discharged.
Release of Hospitalized Patients
Upon release of your pet from treatment, you will be given an itemized receipt. A copy of your pet’s emergency medical record will be sent to your veterinarian via fax.
After release of your pet, we might recommend a follow up with your veterinarian. If continued treatment is required, your regular veterinarian will be providing that care.
In case of an emergency, please call your regular veterinarian. If he or she is not available, please call Pet E.R. at 702-614-5454.
Please give Pet E.R. a call before arriving. This will enable the staff to be prepared for your arrival. Express the nature of the problem—there may be special instructions for the handling of your pet while traveling to the hospital. BE CAREFUL—when injured, even a loving pet may bite. If in doubt, a large blanket or soft cloth muzzle may be used, but do not restrict the animal’s breathing or ability to vomit.
